1. Open the heat shrink tube and slide it over the battery pack, leaving 3mm of tube extending from both ends of the pack.

2. Use a household hair dryer on the hot air setting to heat the tube evenly. For larger-diameter or longer tubes, use a heat gun or heat shrink machine for full, uniform shrinkage.

3. For areas with creases, apply hot air for a slightly longer time to smooth them out, ensuring a tight, neat wrap.

First, understand that "flat width" refers to the diameter of the tube when folded. Here’s a simple way to measure and select the correct size:

Wrap a piece of paper around your battery pack, remove it, and flatten it – the width of the flattened paper is the required flat width of the heat shrink tube.

It’s recommended to choose a tube with a flat width 5mm-10mm larger than your measured size. A slightly larger tube is easier to slide over the battery pack; a tube that’s too small will be unusable.

For a battery pack with a width of 280mm and height (thickness) of 120mm: Measured flat width = 280mm + 120mm = 400mm Recommended size = 420mm (reserving 20mm for easy application) Simply provide us with your battery pack’s width and height, and we will recommend the most suitable size for you.
