Product Overview

This product has excellent electrochemical stability. It can improve the cycle performance and rate performance of lithium-ion batteries, while reducing battery polarization. It is applicable to various cathode and anode materials (including cathode materials such as LiCoO₂, LiMn₂O₄ and LiFePO₄, as well as carbon anode materials and activated carbon). It can effectively avoid the problems caused by organic solvents in lithium-ion battery slurries in terms of environmental protection, fire protection and safety.

Product Advantages
  1. Significantly reduces the battery’s DC internal resistance (DCR)
  2. Improves the battery’s low-temperature high-current discharge performance, and extends battery cycle life (including cycling at 0°C)

  4. Excellent stability: resistant to high-speed shearing and freeze-thaw cycles
  5. Does not stick to rollers during high-speed calendering, enhancing electrode sheet processability
Precautions

The viscosity of LA133 binder is high. Before use, dilute it by slowly stirring with deionized water or distilled water to facilitate dispersion.

  • Adding PC or EC to the anode slurry prepared with LA133 binder can improve the flexibility of the electrode sheet, avoiding edge curling and cracking of the film. The dosage is about 5% of the total solvent volume.
  • When coating the slurry prepared with LA133 binder, the maximum single-side coating temperature is recommended to be controlled below 80°C. If the oven temperature is too high, issues such as electrode sheet curling and coating crazing may occur.
  • Within the shelf life (1 year from the date of production), the viscosity of the LA binder product will increase slightly with storage time; this is a normal phenomenon.
Transportation, Usage & Storage
  1. This product is safe for transportation when packaged intact.
  2. This product is non-flammable, non-toxic, harmless, and non-hazardous.
  3. Shake well before use.
  4. Store in a room-temperature, ventilated environment; keep away from fire sources and heat, and avoid direct sunlight.
